Missing hunter from Vermont found dead in New York


ELLENBURG CENTER, N.Y. (AP) - A missing hunter from Vermont has been found dead in upstate New York.

WPTZ-TV reports the body of Ira Munn Boardman was discovered on Sunday morning, about a mile from his hunting camp in the Ellenburg area.

Boardman, 58, of South Hero, Vermont, had been missing since Nov. 19. Hundreds of people helped in the search.

New York State Police are investigating the death, but do not suspect foul play.

The cause of death is not yet known. An autopsy is planned.
